Your packaging. Your responsibility.

Over five billion tons of uncontrolled plastic are lying in our environment.

A global problem, and one for which we all bear responsibility. Especially in the sports and fashion industries, millions of products are shipped daily: merchandise, sporting goods, fan wear. Packaging is not a minor issue.

It's part of the product. Part of the brand. Part of your attitude.

With WILDPLASTIC®, packaging becomes a vehicle for these values. Plastic, which is otherwise a danger to people, animals, and the environment, is recycled and reprocessed. This results in shipping bags that utilize existing resources, improve working conditions for local collectors, and reduce CO₂ emissions.

With WILDPLASTIC®, packaging becomes a statement.

Recycled plastic is recovered from the environment and returned to the resource cycle, processed, and reused as packaging material. In this way, recycled plastic becomes shipping bags with real impact, with a measurable benefit for the environment and local communities.

  • Working conditions for collectors are improved,
  • Plastic waste is being rescued from the environment,
  • Up to 80% CO₂ is saved,
  • Up to 75% water savings.

Solidarity can change lives.

Sport demonstrates this every day. Your WILDPLASTIC® packaging further reflects this attitude. Visible, honest, effective.

It takes many of us, actually all of us.

BVB x Wildplastic ®

Borussia Dortmund is the first football club to use recycled shipping packaging made from recycled plastic – individually designed in the BVB style. Produced in the EU, sustainable and circular, this collaboration represents innovation and responsibility in the sports industry.
Borussia Dortmund is sending a clear message: for better management of finite resources, fair social interaction and more circularity in professional sports.

Otto x WILDPLASTIC®

Working together for more circularity in shipping: With the vision of measurably advancing ecological and social impact, we have developed the world's first sustainable shipping bag made from recycled plastic together with OTTO.
Today, 100% of all OTTO shipping bags are made from at least 80% WILDPLASTIC® material. Together, we are establishing recycled plastic as a valuable resource and creating a packaging solution that will replace virgin plastic in the long term.

From trash to shipping bag

Where does all this plastic come from and how is it processed?

1. Recovery

In countries without adequate waste management systems, such as India and Indonesia, illegally collected plastic is gathered by hand. We work closely with our partner organizations on this step and visit them regularly.

2. Refurbished

The collected plastic is then sorted, washed, and shredded by hand on site. This process is complex and time-consuming. Not all sorting facilities can shred the material directly; often it has to be transported to larger recycling facilities operated by partners.

3. Recycle

These steps are followed by the recycling of the material into granules. If the infrastructure allows, we have the material granulated on-site. If our partners are too small or lack the necessary infrastructure, it is granulated at our partner's facility in Portugal.

4. Wild product

Finally, the granules are used to produce circular products in Germany or Europe, such as the BVB shipping bag. In this way, waste plastic is transformed back into a valuable resource.
